All Colo High School students need to return the signed BYOD Agreement that was handed out during Roll Call this morning by the end of this week on Friday 21 August 2020. If you have not currently received it please download a copy above.
BYOD is being introduced to the current Year 11 cohort for Year 12, 2021. This means that as of Term 4 Week 2, 2020 that all students in Year 11 need to come to school with a suitable device.
The next year group that will also require BYOD devices is our current Year 10 cohort as they will be entering senior studies in 2021.
That will leave some members of the current Year 9 cohort as the only remaining year group that are not required to have devices at this stage in 2021. The reason for the staged roll out is so we can ensure that systems are in place to manage the whole school network and the online environment. If your student currently brings a device or wishes to bring a device they of course are welcome to if they are currently in Year 9 2020.
