Student opportunities and activities
At Colo High School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Sport
Our school has a proud sports history, and we continue to nurture this tradition by offering a wide range of sporting opportunities for all students to participate and excel.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Agriculture Show Team
With a strong legacy in agriculture, our school fosters growth and enthusiasm through our Ag Show Team, which participates in many different annual competitions and exhibitions.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Rural Fire Service Cadets Program
We are proud to offer the Rural Fire Service Cadets program. This initiative by the NSW RFS provides students with a hands-on opportunity to learn fire safety, firefighting skills, leadership, and teamwork through a structured program delivered by RFS volunteers.
Spirit Week
Spirit Week, a proud Colo tradition for over 20 years held annually in the last week of Term 2, is a fun-filled event that brings students together to celebrate school spirit, support nominated charities, and strengthen our vibrant community. The SRC encourages everyone to join in the activities and make the most of this special week.
