'Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other' – John F. Kennedy
At Colo leadership isn't limited to school or house captains. We encourage all of our students to be leaders in the classroom, the playground, on the sports field, through their support of others, through their involvement in academic, sporting, cultural or community events and projects. Our leaders show integrity, inspire others, show commitment, are good communicators, creative, innovative and much more.
Colo does, however, maintain traditional leadership opportunities through our Student Representative Council (SRC), school and house captains.
Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a dynamic group of students who each display what it means to be a leader. Together they engage in a diverse range of activities to benefit the Colo student body and the wider community. Meeting weekly to discuss the ideas and concerns of the student body in order to advocate for the students, provide opportunities for students to contribute to and influence the school decision-making process and coordinate student lead events.
