STARTING FROM 2019, ALL YEAR 7 STUDENTS AT COLO HIGH ARE EXPECTED TO BRING TO SCHOOL A LAPTOP AS AN ESSENTIAL LEARNING TOOL USED IN ALL CLASSES.

To assist families purchase devices, Colo has teamed up to HP to offer a range of suitable devices and peripherals at a heavily discounted price. All devices offered at Colo's HP Store meet the requirements of our BYOD policy.

Parents can also purchase devices from other vendors, as long as the devices meet the minimum BYOD standards.

A summary of these minimum standards are:

• Windows or Mac Laptop format. (No Android or iOS devices.)

• Screen size: 11.6"

• RAM: 4GB

• Hard Drive: 128GB

  N.B. There is no need to purchase any 3rd party software, as all required software will be provided by the Department of Education at no cost. E.G. Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite.
