We are excited to invite students to participate in the Living with the River Photo Competition, a unique opportunity for photographers of all ages to showcase their talent and passion for our beautiful Hawkesbury-Nepean River.
The competition is open to students, and we are thrilled to announce that the winning student's high school will receive an exclusive half-day workshop led by a professional photographer. This workshop will provide invaluable insights and hands-on experience in the art of photography.
We are also honoured to have Blak Douglas, a renowned artist and our competition ambassador, supporting this initiative. His involvement underscores the importance of artistic expression and environmental awareness as an artist who has been inspired by the river but also seen the devastation of flooding on communities.
Students can submit up to 5 images, and the submission window is open until February 2nd. After the competition closes, entries will be featured on the NSW Reconstruction Authority's Facebook page for the People's Choice Award.
